All to often dogs are found in conditions like these and worse!
Most of these dogs have come from 'Puppy Farms'
or 'Back Yard Breeders' who have no interest once they have the money for a sale.
This happens all over the world... we dont have a monopoly on cruelty, so be very carefull where your puppies end up!
Don’t let this happen to your dog… this poor, poodle mix was covered with thick, felted mats that had to be shaved from his skin. Once removed they created a pile of matted hair as large as the dog itself! At two years old, this was his first visit to a professional grooming salon. By this time the dog’s comfort and skin health had suffered greatly…not to mention his self-esteem and social acceptance. The owner repeatedly bathed him at home with harsh-grocery store brand shampoos that stripped his coat of moisture and natural oils…he was not brushed out completely both before and after the bath. This is the all too frequent results.
Unless stated, all the poor neglected dogs on this page are Poodles.

.... and a medicated bath to aliviate the soreness.........
